Is there a membership or subscription fee?
No. Vehicall is completely free to use. You only pay the provider directly for the work they do.
My insurer says I need a tracker. Can I get one through Vehicall?
Yes. Say in your request which tracker or category your insurer asked for, and installers quote for that. Check with your insurer what certificate they need back after fitting.
Will fitting a tracker or immobiliser affect my warranty?
A professional install shouldn't, but it's worth asking your installer how they connect to the car's wiring and checking your warranty terms before you book.
Can a dash cam be hard-wired?
Yes. Most installers wire dash cams into the fuse box so there's no cable across the dash, and some add a parking mode that records while the car is parked.
What if nobody near me quotes?
Providers quote on requests within their own travel radius, and new ones join every week. If a request goes quiet, check the details are complete (photos help) and try again — your request stays visible to providers who sign up later.
