Is there a membership or subscription fee?
No. Vehicall is completely free to use. You only pay the provider directly for the work they do.
Is it the battery or something else?
A click or slow crank usually means the battery. If it starts with a jump but dies again, it may be the alternator — providers check it's charging before they leave, and tell you if it's more than the battery.
Can they fit a new battery there and then?
Yes, if they carry stock for your car — say the registration and that you may need a replacement, and quotes will include a fitted price.
Will a jump start damage my car?
Not when done properly with the right equipment, which is what you're paying a provider for. Modern stop-start cars need the correct procedure, and they know it.
What if nobody near me quotes?
